Love the idea of alternating shoes. I’m going to give that a try. But yet, I agree, $300 is nothing when it comes to your physical health on the job.

I especially agree with the last paragraph. I worked a Union Construction job in the early 80’s, and the first thing the guys taught me, was the value of a good pair of work boots. $300 bucks is a small price for foot health, AND BACK HEALTH. A quality pair of boots, also helps keep your spine properly aligned. I have 2 pair of boots today, Chipewa and Redwings, and I love them equally.
I alternate days, to allow them to breathe. (Also a good idea)
I’ve had them 7 and 8 years, and they still look and feel perfect.
